Who normally chews shoes? Dogs. Dogs chew shoes in a destructive way but have no ill intent, as they are motivated by their need for stimulation rather than seeking revenge on their owner. I believe this can be related to human behavior, as well, as sometimes we will hurt people unintentionally, but hurt them nonetheless. A Dog’s Innocent Destruction, although made of primarily ceramic clay, features materials not commonly paired with clay, such as acrylic paint, felt, fabric glue, sponge, tape, and scrap cloth.
